prolly a daft thread but even tho i have been driving since i was 17 i have never owned a car my self and there fore never sold a car i presume its the same as selling the bike.

so its time me to be the ultimate n00b and ask how do i go about selling my
varadero 125, i intend to list it on autotader but need to know some things

things i know: ( correct me if i am wrong)
don't let anyone test ride if i am willing to i should demand asking price in cash in my hand, and make sure the person has insurance

have all the paper work ready mot certs, log book etc

erm.. thats about it.

is there anything else i need to know?

pretty much it tbh

both need to sign the v5 slip and send it off (I think) once you've sold it

list it on gumtree aswell its free

I'm selling a scooter and Autotrader is bloody expensive, especially as I'm not getting much interest. I'm also using Ebay and I'll list it on Gumtree tomorrow as well.

I'm not sure I'll let anyone test ride it even with the money I just don't wanna take the risk plus I bought a UV light and cash testing pens if anyone wants to buy it when the banks are closed otherwise we're taking a trip to the local Barclays.

The best advice I can offer is take loads of pictures and be as accurate as possible in the description.
