Hi Everyone.

I currently have two of these running in crossfire:
My motherboard only supports PCIe 2.0
I want to swap to a Single GTX card..

price range £100-£175 new or used..
Would like to know if a card in that budget would perform any
better or equal.

you'd need GTX770 to see any improvement in performance.

but in that price range, 280X is a better option.

real upgrade for you would be custom R9 290.

I would recommend trying to save your money and getting a 290 if you can. If that's not an option at all then 280x or second hand 7970 but you probably wont notice much of an improvement in FPS tbh.

Are you selling your 6950's ? You should be able to muster about £75 at least for each card? That's £150 right there after you have sold them.

I'm leaving ATi completely. Every time they bring out a new driver it breaks one of my games. The crossfire drivers are only good if your card is less then 1 year old. I've had it with them

That's why I was enquiring for an Nvidia equivalent.
