Need advice Please :)

Hi all, im just about to order the rest of the parts for my new gaming rig today and im still undecided about the motherboard and graphics card combination.

Originally i was going to wait and get the ASUS M3A79-T DELUXE motherboard which is out in october and combine that with a 4870x2, but now im considering going with the Asus Crosshair II Formula nForce 780a motherboard and get a GTX 280 instead.

Has anyone got any thoughts on the matter or any advice it would be most helpful!

Oh and im running a Phenom by the way.

Avoid the Nvidia chipset?

Unless you're absolutely set on going SLi, I'd avoid the 780a Mb, even with that GTX280.

Id definitely take the superior performing HD 4870X2 over the overpriced GTX 280.
