I am about to get the NXZT 810 Switch in black and currently i have 2 water cooling loops 1 with Mayhems Aurora Extinction Green and the other with Mayhems Aurora Galaxy Purple.

No I want to add some led's to this when I build it and wanted to know what colour lighting to go for and what would look the best as I am not really one for getting the right contrast of colours.

I must say the green and purple in my loops do like nice together but just want to know if anyone has any advice on what colours to use and maybe best position of the led's in the case maybe??

I was thinking of using the Bitfenix Alchemy led's as I believe there the brightest?

I eagerly await your advice, and thankyou :D

I'd stick with Bitfenix leds yes, and probably white, as it'll help show off the colours of the dye.

Are you aware though that the Aurora dye isn't to be used for long term use?

Hmm, I see your point, however it is 'well known' in the watercooling forums etc...

mlwood, - Possibly 'Mr Mayhems', but at least a tester of Mayhems says below what the uses for the WC liquids mayhems produce are.

There all diffrent types of Liquids.
X1 - (our not so basic range)
Pastel - PC modding / Looks , long life span
Aurora - Modding short term use
X2 - Doesn't contain dye but will not be out for a very long time
Ultra Pure H20 - For the purest amongst us
IDC - Ice Dragon Cooling - Top the range high end coolant that will kick the ass of any GPU you throw at it.

There's also a link on the Mayhems main page, (http://www.mayhems.co.uk/shop/en/ Mods pretty sure this doesn't count as competition as they're the producer? Same way Logitech website doesn't count).

That takes you to the 'Aurora Wiki' (http://mayhems-aurora.wikispaces.com/), which says quite clearly at the top:
Aurora is "NOT" made for use in a home system. It has been developed for show System's (modding) and Photo work. If looking for a fluid for a Home system / Gaming system please use Mayhems X1 or Mayhems Pastel range of fluids there are fully tested and working in any kind of loop.

There are people who rebuild their rigs every 2 weeks or so and replace coolant, but obviously this isn't normal...

I'll point it out to staff that they need to put this on their product page...

I believe the actual reason for it is that the particles can cause issues in the blocks, however I can't quite remember the exact reason.

hmm well I am very annoyed then as I bought several bottles of this stuff on the assumption it was fine to use??? So OCUK can I please have a refund on bottles I still have unopened so that I can swap them for the long term versions such as pastel?? As I feel I have been missold a product?

You sneaky devils ocuk, I have just noticed the notice you have placed on the bottom of the product page!!

"The life span of Aurora Coolants is around 6months" do you really think I would have ordered so many bottles of this stuff if that notice was there?? Please can I swap my unopened bottles please?

Franco, get in touch with them in the Order Query forum:
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=118

I know that they put up the Life span announcement this morning after I pointed it out to them last night. They might be able to help you out, but they might not. I should make it clear that I in no way represent OcUK, so you'll have to see what they say, but yeah, that's where to ask :)

If you bought them less than 7 days ago, you'll be able to return them under Distance Selling Regulations, otherwise yeah, just see what they say.
