My brother is in the home maintenance industry and has asked if I can create him a program of some sort to show his customers 3D models of prospective new kitchens e.t.c

I was hoping one of you very knowledgable people could guide me into the tools/programs I would need to atleast have a go.

I have got relatively little experience with computers in general, but I pick things up quite easily so as long as its not too indepth I should be able to manage it.

All help is greatly appreciated :)

Actually creating a program to show 3D kitchens... you'll need a good few years of experience behind you to know how to do that properly :p

But there's lots of programs out there that you can use, Google Sketchup is a good one that's free - but I haven't used it properly, only had a quick play about in it.

Free program, you'll be able to create some rough ideas within minutes and comes with a programmable interface that allows you to create a standalone program, etc, etc.

It's a SWINE to learn, but results are worth it.

No problem I should be able to do it in a week

I'll have a look at Blender and googlesketchup then, see what I can come up with. Cheers
