Because I still live with my Mom I don't have much room in my bed room for an actual gaming desktop. Is there anything that I could have instead such as a gaming laptop or a 'steam machine'?

i7 is a bit overkill but when someone gives you £800-£1200, you tend to only see one number

Replace with i5 if you want cheaper. Can add a better cooler for overclocking later.
