Hi all i purchest a 7970 from overclockers a few monthes back to replace my old 5870 matrix but i havent gaind the performance i was hoping for. This is a gaming rig and im lookin to run at ultra settings/supersampling enabled in ccc with ingame AA to 4x (8x if pos) at a native res of 1920x1080. i think my cpu is the problem so i was thinking to switch to intel and go with a i5 3570k and an asus z77 sabortooth motherbord and o.c it to 4.7 or something along those lines. but im unsure. allso can anyone tell me if my current ram would work with this setup. thanks
