i want to upgrade my graphics card to a ASUS GeForce GTX 660TI because im seeing slowdown on the latest games will it make an impact on my system or am i going to need to upgrade processor ram etc any feedback would be great :)

for me i'd stick in a Sapphire / AMD HD 7870 GHz Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card and leave GeForce, i have the same m/b in my net pc as it was my old gaming rig, boards good, cpu is good, and memory is plenty, just for a quick boost then another vga is plenty for now, you will see a big difference, then half way through next year add either a better one of change the lot, but for 6 months to another year it will be fine

ok sounds good ive had the components for 3/4 years and most games run fairly well ive seen lag on black ops 2 la noire cant really handle most setting dx 11 for most! skyrim runs well just guess that boost with the graphics card is what i need thanks for the reply :)

just a standard fan on the cpu lol but i remember trying to overclock the cpu few years ago worked for a while then kept have to reset the cmos settings on boot up

Your OC was probably not stable. You need to test for stability when making changes to the processor speed. Also a good aftermarket cooler will also help.
