Ok basically I work for a poker club and I have been assigned too maintain and update a leaderboard daily with results and points . For the last 2 months I am sure I have been doing it the hard way and found myself In a very tight situation .

The point system works as follows - 5 points for entering - 20 for a 1st , 15 for 2nd down to 9th .

So if played the tournament and came 1st you would get 25 points total .

After every tournament I am given 2 sheets , 1 with names so I can enter 5 points and 1 sheet with the winners with there amount they won and the points.

The system I have been using is an excel sheet with names and there total points , I then date the sheet once Ive updated the new points and then copy and sort the infomation into order to 1st - 50th .However I have not been keeping track of the dates of when people accured points and therefore my boss told me the leaderboard is therefore not accurate which I agree totally incase of a type error etc or any other mistake . This information is then pasted onto the web site daily .

Can anyone suggest a system in which I can update the the leader board in a much simpler / accurate manner .

You can check the leaderboard here
