Ive just starting out learning about overclocking and would like advise on a motherboard. Ive just bought ASRock 775Dual-VSTA with E6400. I then bought a 2 gig PC-6400 Geil Twin pack from here. The reason for buying the Vsta was to keep my 6800Gt card and original 2 gig ddr ram. The Vsta doesn’t clock to well and the 6800GT doesn’t like being clocked at the same time as the CPU. Its either one or other.
Q: which board would best suit as im going to replace the 6800GT for 7950Gt or better?
I play BF2 most nights and use photoshop / studio max & studio 9 frequently.
My budget is £200 + £50 I should get for my Vsta & 6800GT = £250
