No, Look at the 2nd hand market. A 7600gt would be 5x times as fast as that. A x1950pro is a bit faster still but you need a good case (size and heat) and a decent PSU. My advice is get a 7600gt. Great card.
Even if you game at 1280x1024 I think you might feel let down trying to play the games that you mentioned. Everyone here will say you should get a new motherboard/CPU/RAM/Graghics card. You won't get very far these days with an athlon XP and an AGP card.

Can`t find the 7600gt for less than £75. Is there a middle ground between the one I linked and a 7600gt? It`s going into a micro atx case aswell so heat is an issue.
This isn`t my main pc btw, it`s an old one put together with spare parts that my brother uses.
Although my pc is also an athlon xp setup lol, long story. I don`t game but recently got into HD and encoding so mine will need updateing at some point becasue it`s now showing it`s age.

hmm john you could opt for a 6600GT
a lan centre i know of runs it fine with them although they may be using PCI-E i still think there will be one in the MM

£30 maybe a bit more. Just needs to play sims2 OK anything more demanding is a bonus.
Wouldn`t really know because I don`t game on the pc, was recommended it on another site so got one second hand and it died after a few months.
