My new parts are arriving tomorrow.

Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R
4Gb PC6400 Ram

The board is 2nd hand so should I reset the cmos as soon as I receive it?

Is there anything I need to know before clocking this board? Options to switch off etc? Also what is the best bios to use? Anything I should download in preparation?

Never clocked with Intel before... Do I just raise the FSB without really worrying about much else (apart from dropping the multi)?
