need an appropriate nvidia card for this set up

my brother is playing cod W@W right now on a gefore 7300 and what can i say it looks awful.

He's asked me to find him a graphics card and powersupply combo for under £200 im considering a gts250 for him as i think anything more will be overkill for his current set up of:

intel E6400 @ stock
3gb DDR2
geforce 7300
dell mobo

i'll find a matching PSU for whatever card we decide on

any suggestions?

Why an Nvidia card, ATI cards usually have better value.

no reason it can't be an ati card, more a case of finding a right card that wont be bottlenecked by the system.

This 4850 or this 250 should be OK to run the game, although i would prefer the 4850. If you look around you can find the old 260 for ~£130.

he has a 300 watt power supply but as mentioned before i'd be changing this to match the card.

Please, please, please don't but the 250.
It's not a bad card but the renaming stinks.

The 260's were down in price lately weren't they? One of those would be a massive step up, would crush the 7300.

I'd get that ^^^^ Corsair 450W PSU, a bit cheaper an all. Or get the 550W version which a couple quid over the OCZ.
