im not that clued up on memory and i currently have this

im looking at installing vista x64 and putting some more ram in

should i buy the same as what i have or replace the whole lot with a 4gb kit?

im currently running a e6300 only slightly overclocked as its in a htpc

any advice would be appreciated

You should be fine with just buying another 2gb of what you currently have.

Not really.

Your PC5300 Ballistix should be capable of doing over 1000mhz anyway.
