Was unsure where to put this thread but I am needing help with setting up picture settings on my LCD-TV. I have been using a VGA connection for PC's since the very first one I bought so have got used to how it looks, I have never used a PC through DVI so have never seen a PC through a digital connection.
I have recently set up my new PC through the HDMI socket on my LCD-TV and I am surprised by how bright and vibrant everything is. I have fiddled with the settings but can't find settings that I am happy with. I don't really want to mess with the TV settings as the picture is fine through HDMI for PS3 usage.
This leaves me with the settings for my graphics properties and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a more subtle picture, I have tried turning the brightness down which looks good for white backgrounds but not so good for colourful pictures.
I can adjust Gamma, brightness and contrast and I can do this for each of red, blue. green or I can adjust them as one colour.
