Hi All,
Last time of asking I hope. I need to be sure before I commit my cash.

These are what I am buying but not sure on which RAM..Need to keep my buying below £700 or if poss-£670.

Intel i5-3570K 3.40GHz Retail £173.99 (on offer weekend)
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H mobo £109.99
KFA2 GeForce GT640 1024MB GDDR3 graphics £79.99
Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 700w psu £64.99

Which RAM--Corsair Vengence Low Profile 2x8GB =16GB £109.99 with this cooler
Gelid Tranquillo.

Or this RAM Corsair Dominator 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit 2x8GB =16GB £89.99 but Which Cooler. Will the above cooler be ok or will i have to buy a more expensive one. (which one)
Thanks

It's for Photoshop 5 then 6 later.. More the merrier.
Which is better then 2x8 or 4x4. If 4x4 I might buy 2 sticks of 4 to start with and see how that gos. Though after reading about PSCS6 most are buying 16GB.
Cheers

if its for photoshop then 16gb would be better, its up to you how you wanna go about it,buy whole 16gb or 8 now and 8 later

the vengeance lp should work fine

OK Quixote--You got this one? but a question mark would look lost in me case. :)
Which £78 is it Please. Thanks.
Wish the Low Profile would drop in price.

Thanks wazza..Don't like that RAM unfortunately. Not an easy decision when I know nowt about RAM.

im not a fan either of adata, but never used them so cant really comment, you need to shop around ect

How about this: http://overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-054-PA
16GB PC15000 CAS9 for under £70, listed as tested on Z77 platform. Plus points as I see it:

-2 sticks (some kits are 4*4GB) so can add more RAM in future if necessary
-Faster than your standard PC12800 memory without compromising too much on timings
-Allegedly should work fine on your choice of chipset
-Cheaper than the memory you've quoted, if you play games this frees up some money for a better graphics card which will make much more of a difference in terms of performance.

Only thing to watch out for I guess is the profile depending on what cooler you get, although with only two sticks you can chose the bank furthest from CPU anyway. Says 1.55-1.65v but I expect it runs fine on 1.5v.
