Need better case fans

Need your advice with new case fans.

I am still using the Thermaltake Armor case with the following cooling:
2 x 120mm front intake fans (icages which are empty),
1 x 90mm top centre exhaust fan (centre top),
1 x 120mm rear exhaust fan (above the I/O shield plate),
1 x 90mm rear exhaust fans (above the rear 120mm and behind the HDD cradle).


I would like to buy and change all these fans for something with better airflow but not to sure with what.

I am thinking for the top 92mm exhaust fan and the rear 120mm exhaust fan should be high airflow fans.
The Two 120mm front intake fans and the 92mm exhaust fan stuck in behind the HDD cradle (2 HDDs) they should be static pressure fans.

what do you think and any recommendations as to what to buy.

I removed the metal on the rear exhausts when i had mine...makes a big difference to air that is moved.

Easy enough to cut with snip just not with the motherboard in :)
Or be very careful no metal fragments go astray :)
 
i believe u can use 120mm fan as the top exhaust. I had this case and i used 120mm there on the top. Other thing u can do is cut the fan holes for more airflow, use U-rubber around it and fan grill. Will improve ur airflow, thats for sure.

Thanks postmanfw, next time I have my case out from under the desk I will look at this option but like with the response to OLDPHART I would rather not mod the case in any way.

Thanks fat4l, I have looked at this option but thought that I would need a 92mm to 120mm adapter to achieve the retrofit. I will revisit this and see if I could in fact fit a 120mm fan to the top without any adapter.

u will either need a scroud(120mm one-phobya, not an adapter) or u cen mount it there but not with screws so basically the front will be hanging there.
 
Fair enough if you dont want to cut case up but its not like you will sell it years down the line and lose money :)
At the end of the day it get the job done thats needed :)

Did the same to the 800D i bought too :)
Cpu now gets plenty of cold air from rear instead of struggling to blow already warm air out of the rear :)

Did mine rough with a pair of snips but could be done nice a neat with right tools.
 
Solved my case fan problem........

Got a Corsair Obsidian Series 750D and 2 Corsair SP120 white LED fans for my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (push/pull) and 2 Corsair AF140MM white LED fans to replace the front 140MM fans that come with the case. The 140mm fans that have been replaced are going on top as exhaust fans.
