Need better CPU cooling, plus OCing support

Hey,

I was wondering, what CPU cooler would be good for a Q6600 in a ATX size case, I'm thinking of overclocking it when I get a better motherboard, how far could I get it safely overclocked to also?

Id look at the sunbeam, excellent cooler, your OC depends on so many different things, mobo and bios as well as each batch of chips being different, but you can aim for 3.4 give or take 0.2

thermalright HR-01 Plus got one on my own Q6600 idles around 36 36 32 32 at 3.6ghz 1.487v

room temp around 25

it depends how much you want to spend...if you don't want to spend too much and want a fan inculded look at the OCZ vennetta 2 and relatives (there are quite a few simplier to that cooler and around the same price)

I got a Q9550 OC and I used to have a Q6660 with the OCZ the only time it overheat was when the pins jumped out >.<
