Need better gpu

At the mo am using a 4890, but am in need of more power. spec me a gpu that is better then the card i had before the 4890 which was a 4870x2. or is going crossfire better. got about 250 to spend running 1920/1200. Or would it be better to sell my 4890 and get a better gpu

Unless you need DX11 get a second 4890.

does you motherboard support X-fire? I would go for X-fire unless you need DX11.

What you on about merlin5? Sorry was sleep deprived at that time. yes my mobo takes crossfire.
