ORI've completely NO SWEARING up a build for a mate, and hes bought the stuff and well.. yeah. I dunno how the NO SWEARING I've messed up so badly. I'll write down the spec and I really need you to check the compatablity of it, I think the motherboard is completely wrong, and if thats the only issue could you suggest another motherboard that would be compatable with the ram/gfx/processor? Would be great, thanks a load.

Intel Core™ 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz, Socket LGA775, 6MB, 1333Mhz, BOXED w/fan

OCZ Value 2GB Kit With 2x1GB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz, CL5-5-5-15(two sticks)
OR
Corsair Value S. PC5300 DDR2 2048MB, 256Meg x 64, CL5, 667MHz, 240-pin
(only one stick)

MSI GeForce GTX 280 1GB Super OC GDDR3, PCI-Express 2.0, 2xDVI/HDCP, 512bit

Samsung SpinPoint S166 160GB SATA2 8MB 7200RPM

Sigh, be nice. I've NO SWEARING up

That mobo should work with the chip. It has a full speed pci-e slot for the gfx card. You should only really use the 2 sticks of ocz memory. Whats wrong with it?

Edit out the swearies, dude :)

Bad choice of motherboard tbh. It doesn't officially support any of the 1333mhz FSB chips, nevermind the 45nm ones. Tho in theory you should be able to manually overclock the FSB to 1333mhz, providing the board boots with the chip. The latest beta BIOS was released on the 29th July, but only mentions an updated code for the 1066mhz FSB 45nm chips.
