Hi there,
I need a camera that's good indoors under bog standard room lighting that can focus pretty close wide angle... and a low f stop so can avoid useing flash its just for taking decent pics for flebay stuff I have about 1000 coins/stamps I need to take pictures of.... budget is not an issue although I don't want to spend silly money just something that will do the job.

You could use pretty much any camera which has a wide angle or some sort of macro option if you need to get fairly close and use a tripod. You don't need to spend a lot of money on a lens with a large aperture.

If you have a compact camera to hand I would personally have a go with that. They usually have a macro mode and most decent ones have image stabilization. Shoot with lots of light (I would do it on a window sill during the day) at low ISO and i would be surprised if you didnt find them good enough for eBay purposes.
