Hi everyone . I’m just about to build my first gaming computer and I’ve been watching lots of tutorials and talking with people on différents forums and I would like to have a last confirmation from you if I can . I link my build below and I’m going to play on games like wow hm destiny 2 and Anthem when it comes out . Please give me as much precision as you can , if it’s not adapted tell me why and how can I fix the inéquations. I don’t know a lot on pc but since 2 weeks I’m on it and I start to understand the overall ...

Build : https://************.com/user/Zhab/saved/xKRpbv

After that on a different topic , I’ve heard a lot about overcloacking and I’ve understand that it make you components running faster by boosting them but it can become very hot . Could someone tell me exactly if and in which case I’m going to need overclocking . And is my mother board is going to hold it ? Thanks a lot

List looks good, B460 boards don't allow overclocking and you need intel K chips .

If your after Intel, then wait till end of Q3 , if you really need a system, grab Ryzen 2600X+ Aorus 5 (for the WiFi) and let it auto overclock itself

I don’t really want to overcloking and actually i don’t really know what it is for but do you think a will need to everclok with the games I play ? But thanks for these advices . I don’t think I want to wait any longer lol I’ve been on the topic for 2 weeks now just waiting to buy all components

Sorry, PCP had it listed on dollars .

Seems budget is £2400 including monitor ?

Note- you've selected the Freesync version of the monitor with an Nvidia G-sync card.. have corrected

Can you tell me why you’ve changed the components please ? I must know why are these one better than the other ones . I liked the previous box actually. Why choosing i5 8500 instead of 8400? And why did you include a cpu cooler ? Cause I’ve got one already included in the i5 8400 cpu and an other one on the gpu inclueded as well . So I’ve been told they do great job for a start ?

Let's see if Google translate gets the cooler situation .across

Le refroidisseur de stock d'Intel est de la merde

Intel's cooling is to be avoided. Even Non K chips can run hot under full boost - 3.8ghz for the 8400 and 3.9ghz for the 8500, which is the reason why I selected the 8500.

Ryzen Coolers do the better job ! Also helped by the fact the way AMD mates their chip die to the Integrated Heat Spreader

Case are just personal choices, just went with something good with low price. R6 is a cracking case for custom water-cooling , if your running stock cooling , it's expensive ...

Selected Aorus card to match as well as better Rep/RMA support in the UK , but for that Price that's a damn good steal for the Hybrid 1080Ti !
Just make sure you select the correct Asus screen, G-sync not Freesync which is cheaper .

Ok thank I just wonder If i start with the intel cooler for a start then if it’s to hot I’ll invest in a better cpu cooler not just a basic one . Maybe a aoi . I’m going to run world of Warcraft destiny 2 and anthem when it comes out . Do you really think a cpu cooler is going to be nevassary or should I wait for that?

Thanks for the advice for the gsync .

you'll hear it or it'll lose boost speed due to heat . honestly the thing is useless . even £17 cooler would do a better job . AIO not really needed for it .

personally just slap in Ryzen 2600x and B450 end of the month :D

Haha yes ok that’s good idea . So what would the 8500 add more than the 8400? I didn’t get that really . Sorry

would add 1-3 FPS in the min and average frame rate . though we are in Q3 which is when Intel are releasing refresh of coffeelake chips

why i listed ryzen/vega build - so much better value for money and not making you regret purchase a few weeks later
