Need decent internet secirty packages

well I have been running on AVG 8.5, as a test with comodo and PCtools spyware doctor, and well AVG is not what it used to be, so I want to replace it with a "security suite" which out classes both AVG 8.5 and spyware doctor(free trail cos it works:P)

however I want to keep my comodo as it does pull its weight althrough it does like being annoying till it has learnt what to let in and what not to :mad:and if it don't catch the nasty it will trying to exucte ;)
Reviews are useless in this case they conflict :confused:
So what secuirty combo guys(perfer interent secuirty) ? oh yeah
so far I treid bit defender and i had to reinstall windows becasue of it :mad:
P.S not sure if it should have been posted here but than its hardly hardware :P
 
For gods sake someone PLEASE make a ****ing sticky to stop search-deficient simpletons from asking this question every day. :(
 
perhaps some people have a better understanding of how to put thought's onto the screen in what they see is correct and perhaps some people dont.

Speaking for myself I Google things Before I post a thread about them, As well as Google I use books, Papers,Search function, Sites, MSN & my mates on the phone, The Last thing I do is start a thread.
When you see somebody who has gone to the trouble of writing out a post/thread instead of just typing it into Google you have to ask yourself WHY ??? :confused:



Oh & use AVAST it's Free & what I have used for Years.

Agreed. When the security software poll thread ran to a few pages recently I assumed it might get stickied. Sadly, I was wrong.

But seriously, please get to to know the search function, because it's quite useful for stuff like this, and this topic ocmes up a few times a week so there's plenty of info to read. :)

i would like to put my 2p in please.

sometimes its better to ask people on a huge forum (like this one) what a vast of people use for security.

i for one like to use google but when it come's to the running of a security software it's better to ask someone what they find the best because at the end of the day the software is kind of important.

i know there has been load's of thread's about everything but people sometimes just like to get a reply and that makes them feel someone is listening to them.

and at the end of the day.....we don't have to reply to these thread's....do we !

No-ones asking you to Google, just use the search function on this forum. This quesitons is literally asked a few times a week and there is some really good ifnormation on there posted by the same people each time... why should they repeat the same info ad infinitum in such a short space fo time? :)
