need digital SLR pointers

i used to have an olympus 35mm SLR which i really liked using but moved into fixed lense digital cameras and now i need to go back to SLR.just for the quality
so i am looking for an entry level SLR but it must be easy enough for her indoors to use
looking to spend £300,new or used

You could stick with Olympus but they generally are not the best value/quality for your money.
The obvious choice is either a Nikon D50 or Canon 350D. You're going to have to look at second hand for your budget.
