will be on a E8400 ....
wanted to ordered the FREEZER 7 but heared some ppl can't get over 3.6GHZ with it ...so i though why not adding extra 10$ and get to 4.0 + :D
what do u think about this 1 ?
most inportant thing for me (studying...at list wile i'm not killing my friends in BF2...) is Q U I E T ...
so is it tolerable ?
2 more questions...what about that fan that comes with it ...do u realy need it ?
and my case\mobo will fit this 1 ?

Youll only hear the fan if you have no others in the machine. it will spend most of its time at 900rpm using intel pwm making no noise at all. the fan is fiddly to attached but its deffinatly a good fan/sink combo.

For reference, config in sig. On a hot sunny day like we had recently, im getting about 62 deg max (per core) running prime for a few hours. sits around 38 idle. Thats with vcore set to 1.468, and 1.41 load after vdroop.

Somebody's actually selling these on the bay now. It's about time some retailers started stocking them. Highly underrated coolers and overlooked a lot of the time.

-Yes you need the fan, it's very quiet and quite effective though.

-Just googled the case, it should fit..but no guarantees.
 
Ive just looked at that cooler and does look very good, great review from frostytech and fairly cheap, think i will purchase one and thanks for the heads up man on this little gem.
