Im actually after 2 USB pen drives and unfortunately aware that the Corsair Voyager GTs are dead and were the ones to have.

Now they are EOL, whats the best to get, for:

a) Readyboost - so 4Gb
b) Normal data - at least 8Gb - want it for PS3 backup initially...

Still unsure if its worth it for Readyboost but I heard that Prefetch/Superfetch setup decreases since it keep the cache on the USB and after time it speeds up that process. Is that correct?

TIA

i have been using a PNY Attache' Pro 2gb for about a year now and it has a pretty fast read time (24.3MB/sec minimum 33.2MB/sec maximum) i can't do a write test as i'm using it for readyboost and it is mounted as such.

it is sold as 'readyboost ready'

PNY make the Attache' model up to 8gb

Cheers that does sound fast - have you found it useful for ReadyBoost and what I said above actually make sense?

I use a Crucial Gizmo JR as my readyboost drive, its 4GB and tiny:

I have it sticking out my card reader in my Antec P182 and the door can close perfectly fine :) Oh and I paid about £8 for it.

Ooh that sounds good - I guess you dont need the fastest USB pen drive out there for readyboost. I do need a nice and fast one for files though - moving media to the PS3 is a bit annoying otherwise...

Might have a look at that...
