Totally addicted to this but atm im just stumped, trying to get enough to race #5 and im just not getting anywhere, ive done all the req races, and have all but 1 marker thingys, from that I can do either..Bounty, Police Tags, Cost to State..

scenes like this are killing me!

I dunno maybe sometime i'll just get lucky :(

Whenever they get close to me I just only reserve the nitro to try to topple those infront over.

It does become frustrating over time, just keep trying!

Yea thats one of my tactics but everytime I get my bounty/police tags close to where it needs to be to pass - my heat lvl is just too high, those police corvettes + insane chopper pilots are a pain :(

If you drive to the bus station you can get onto the roof and the police can't usually get you. Easy way to rack up huge bounty scores, once you have enough points just reverse back into the bus station and hide to end the chase.

One trick is to use the nitrous when going around corners so you don't lose much speed, which I think is what the AI does a lot in later stages of the game.

That the gallardo your driving? I found the porsches the best cars for all the bounty stuff, they are fast and have a nice weight for barging thru the roadblocks. From the pick im assuming ** on the highway just keep driving around and around, sometimes doing a 180 when too many cops ahead till uve done the bounty and nip into *** town and use the pursuit breakers, of course if ** totally fed up then you can always use cheats/trainers

Only way I found to lose the cops was to constantly drive at 210+ MPH on the freeway with nitro bursts taking me into 235 - 245mph region and if you car is fast enough they can't keep up. If a freeway is not available watch The Transporter then perform some ultra slick driving skillz :p But in all seriousness persuit breakers are probobly the best way to lose them off your tail but at heat level 5 its very hard to lose them even in the best cars.

Yea its a Gallardo, I got a fully buffed cayman aswell but it just dont cut it compared, anyway back on topic I passed that bit, just got lucky and escaped @ lv5 heat, dont really like going that far im good at being rhino car bombed, now for more bounty for the next blacklister! great!

The cayman isnt that good, what i did was everytime a new porsche got unlocked i bought it, beefed it up and used it for the bountys, got them all fairly easy that way.

Does any one have problems with parts of the map being waaay too bright in this game ? im not sure if its the game or a driver conflict of some thing

x1800xt & 6.9's

Any one else have this issue ?

Its starting to annoy me now and yes ive turned off the 'over bright' setting in the game options but its still way to bright in some parts :(

its the HDR, and imo it looks amazing, especially when you come over a hill and cant see a thing because of the sun and you hit a wall, its great!

ps, blacklist defeated!

*Giggles*

Thats how I did the final chase thing, I just couldn't get them off me so blasted up there.

On another note, I did about 90% of the game in my Punto, is a great car, just got the others for cruising and testing them out,

Best way to get rid of cops? Persuit breakers, by far, tis a shame when you use them all though.

Also, a quick and easy way to lose heat, spray your car a few times, take roof scoops off and put them back on etc etc.

I will always try and get rid of heats asap if it goes above 3.5, I consider myself good at the game, but I just can't do the high end chases without my bank balance going down drastically. Infact, in the 3-4 days I played seriously I must have only done about 3 4+ heat chases. (Yes, it was Christmas period, I was cold, bored and Internet was down, so no Xbox Live.)

Doesnt the overbright setting change the brightness?

No that didnt fix the problem , i turned off the bottom setting 'visual treatment' or something and thats seems to have fixed it well not completely but its a lot better

As someone has already said, the easiest way to rack up the bounty and then evade is the coach / bus shelter. If you go half way up the ramp they usually cant find you!

I found this out last night successfully evading the old bill on the Cement Truck challenge.
