Need For Speed Pro Street Demo PC

If the game is lagging when you input, you obv cant run it at the settings you have set it to (it does rape PC more then previous ones), also use KING mode as that gives you total control of car with no ASSISTANCE (Brakes/Steering etc), it does not make the other cars harder to race etc.

Just gave this a whirl, and I must say I'm very disappointed.

Even with driver assist set to KING mode, it still feels like the computer is braking for me when cornering. It's kinda lame that I'm in a ~470bhp car and yet attempting to accelerate round the shallowest of bends sees my speedo slowly creep up through 50, 60, 70mph a digit at a time. Even more bizarre is that 100-150mph seems a lot quicker than 50-100mph.

It also doesn't help that the demo is incredibly short, 800meg for a couple of short races will little-to-no replay value.

For the first time in 8.5 years I'm actually considering not buying the latest NFS game.
 
Need For Speed Underground 2 was the best in the NFS Series!, last time I played it I had an X800XT, gonna have to get playing it again! :D, brilliant game it was.
 
:( huge fan of nfs games, but what have they done with this one!!! Next gen Graphics: were are they??? physics: GONE! controlablity: Juiced 1 style (oversensitive), LAGGY/choppy (even at low settings)
anyone ever played NFS: HIGH STAKES for PSX???, if you remember it youll know how much better it is then this thing, if you dont remember it but have it PLAY IT youll be amazed at the quality you get when compared to Pro Street!!!!
Note: PC version of NFS: High stakes isnt so good as the PSX version was (but still better then Pro Street!)
 
i bet the guys who say they not going to buy it when full release will come out and they see the beauty they will not resist it and buy it straight away ;) im never wrong :rolleyes:
 
i will buy it! you people are so strange you judge game from 2 races playing with not tuned cars you did not experience any after race and multilayer experience that it will have and so on... this thing will be one of the best series maybe even the best and i think you will change your mind when full game comes out :mad: :p

edit: ye demo is not great at least they not hyped as cryteck did
