Need For Speed: Pro Street

And as for that "wingman" thing, well what a waste of time. All they do is hinder me, and pretty much nothing else.

They can be annoying, but once you unlock that drafting bird you become unbeatable when you use her (one from the videos n stuff). You should avoid wingmen or only use a route seeking wingman till you unlock her, thats what I've done every time I go through Carbon, completed it about 6 times now :p (sad I know)

The most useful feature of my wingman atm is they shout "Mustang right behind you" or "on your left" thereby warning me that another car is right behind me and where they are. :)

The first NFS:U was a true breath of fresh air to the series. NFS:U2 was just a tweaked version although still very good too. NFS:MW was a complete dumbed down version of the customization of number 2, Carbon was just a tweaked version of most wanted but still way off number 2. Even still the racing aspect has not been changed at all for the last decade of NFS games. They really need to reinvent the series instead of just adding a few more cars and upgrading the graphics. The first two games of the "2fast2furious" era were very good but the last too have been somewhat mundane and more of the same.

Anyway tomorrow we have Forza so it will be all good ^_^.

Its the "wheres my magnifying glass" aspect of the last three games. Some very slight things, but basically the same engine and same plot. I really loved NFS:U2, but I really couldn't bring myself to spend the money on MW and Carbon, but I did play them, and was disappointed. Can't imagine the next to be any better. The only part of carbon that presented any challenge was the arcade style part, many of the golds seemed rediculously hard.
on NFS:U2 it was get the 350z, fully upgrade it and you're away
NFS:MW Carrera GT and you're away
NFS:C lamborghini murcielago (sp?) and you're away

NUSU2 i could never ever could get on with, for the simple sake of just wandering round the place looking for carlots and customising places.I'm glad they droped that feature to a certain extent in MW & Carbon!

Yet another pile of junk being churned out by EA. I fully agree with Skeeter - NFS5 is by far my favourite of the series, and I wish they'd go back to something similar and drop all the street racing crud.

To be fair though NFS5 is unbelievably good, it's not really fair to expect the others in the series to be as good.

I'm a big fan of the NFS series and will definitely be getting this on release.

was NFS5 the porsche one? i had that but computer at the time wasn't powerful enough to run it smoothly which was a shame :(

i did own NFS3 which was fun driving the lambo.

Prefere a old nfs style myself i really couldnt care less about street racing anymore. Too overdone. Bring back classic point to point racing through countryside or somit with checkpoints.

i agree 100%

im sick of all that BS fast and the furious type games
