Out Spring 2011. Same developer as the first game (Slightly Mad Studios)

I thought the first game was decent, and it's certainly the best racer graphically on PC. Hopefully they can improve the handling, and maybe add some decent weather effects

Looked at some comparison shots between Shift 1 and 2 on PC and Shift 2 looks noticeably worse. Which is worrying.

That still looks considerably worse than Shift 1 to me. The poor quality trees and lack of 3D crowd etc are most noticeable

I really don't understand how they've managed to make it look worse than the first one, and yet somehow halved the framerate! Admittedly I've only got a 4870 1 gig graphics card at the moment, but the first one ran at a consistent 50-60fps and looked far better

I had that. Was fixed with the patch though for me
