MP isnt for me, i like to do things at my own pace and pause it when i want to for aslong as i want.

AV can only do so much though. If people are downloading willy nilly etc. one or two viruses will slip through. You have more than 1 AV on the same PC or just piloting other software? Norton and Mcafee are the devil, get rid of it.

Fair play, I don't think you will have any issues, as long as you are sensible with what sites you visit and the things you download, virus's shouldn't be a major issue. IMHO

i was just mentioning other software people are using so as not to make out im anti MSE. never run more than one AV, its worse than having none at all :cool:

hmmm........i will wait until the autolog is available and see how people rate it. never had a virus on my laptop, but sods law is, connect pc to internet, virus downloaded, pc unusable, all files gone. autolog becomes available and it adds nothing i want to use. just my luck.
 
O.k got the game today installed it and as most p.c people do turned all the settings up as high as they go.

So all set with my first race and WTF jagged edges every were.

Checked the settings again and they were all maxed (res 1080p as on a 50" lg plasma).

Ended up having to set every option in the nvidia control panel and setting the AA node to override then setting 32x AA 8x SS just to rid myself of them.


So far so good tho

Would like to try it with a Steering wheel/ chair setup

1080 on a 50" will do that surely: Pixel Stretching I assume? My monitor is only 22" at 1080. :p

did you restart the game after changing the settings?

download nvidia inspector and create a profile for shift 2 the ingame AA is crap

First ingame settings select No AA.
Then make a profile for the game in nv inspector. Goggle for the utility if you don`t have it.
In antialiasing compatibility put 0x000010C1
In antialiasing mode use Override any application setting
In aa settings use 2x or more multisampling AA.
In trasparency AA use 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling or more

Hhhmmm, I have not had any issues with AA, everything on max in game and looks great on 40". Do you thing these settings will make it look better?

gave me some weird while "glitch" at the side of the screen.. better try forcing it through control panel.. it doesn't seem to work properly..

yea it only happens on night races for me but stays on the daylight ones after.

forcing AA in the control panel doesnt seem to work for me though as afterburner shows the game only using arounde 700mb of memory , but with the game profile the game looks better and using almost 1gb of memory with 4xaa

postman came ill setup autolog in a few mins :P

lol the code on the back of the manual is only valid until 2021!.

BTW works tuned supra is epic! handles like a dream , goes where you want it to , no swaying mothion what so ever and you can feel the grip when you nail the throttle in a fast corner

Well people who are saying its amazing with a wheel i have to say its ALL down to settings. I still havent found the best settings yet but i felt no desire to play more. It is getting panned on most race sim forums, but most agree if you get the right settimgs its playable

I think i need to find the right settings and then ill give it another go. My copy is here anyway :D its just if i want to play it or not.

All those comments about supra is annoying. I dont like the look of supras so i dont want to use it. I will however try it out to see if the handling really is that much better.

more the fact that i have to use a supra because the other cars i have tried so far suck. May aswel call it NFS: Supra unleashed :D

is there a mod to try other cars without buying them?
 
well im sure a lot of other cars are good to :P just i like the supra the most so far.

the E30 wasnt to bad i did the retro races in it
 
i was around 32% then i activated the limited editon code and all the new events knocked me back down to 26% :P

anyaywa autolog me if you have it! i cant be the only one with the actual game
