Need for Speed : Shift Crashes at loading screen?!?!

hey guys,

I got NFS shift the other day and every time i start the game up it loads about half way and the screen goes black and i have to get task manager up to end the program (which is shown as not responding)

Anything i can do?!?! ive downloaded the game 2 times now and still the same problem :/

data execution prevention, its a window feature, i heard it can stop shift2 from loading so its probably the same for shift 1 aswell, you could try deleting the start movies from the games folder aswell just incase they arre the issue

it does this when I have the wrong res set, like after i have been using eyefinity and change back to standard extended desk top
