Need for Speed Undercover Unveiled

NFS:Hot Pursuit 2 was the last NFS game I enjoyed. They messed up the series with NFS:U and its been going downhill ever since!

Most wanted was good as it had the style and wide open road racing that made the original great. Hated underground and pro street was indeed flogging the already dead horse down to the bones. these games sell though, and that is what matters. sarcasm.

Hope it's similar to underground 2, the best nfs game imo...

Most wanted was a bit boring due to no proper tuning, carbon was male cow poo, pro street was an unrealistic PoS :(.

I loved the nfs games in this order ( played from hp2) :

NFS:U2 > NFS: HP2 > NFS:U > NFS:MW > (I'm at utterly hate now) NFS: C> NFS> PS

I thought Most wanted was the best due to the chases, they were such fun. Carbon was poor and short, the only good thing was the modding. I think they should just scrap the NFS series and start over calling it something else.

Lets hope its more like Most Wanted and the Underground series rather than the last two trashed releases we've had.

Most Wanted was nearly there. All it needs now is:

Players being able to drive as the police in SP\MP
More race types
More than 6 opponents per race
Maybe a larger area to roam around in?
Possibly a graphics update?

And again, this is EA, the horse is still stumbling around on its legs so it can carry on getting a flogging
I believe the horse is well and truely dead. But whipping the corpse causes a reflex twitching which some can mistake for proof of life...

The last NFS I played was Most Wanted. TBH - I like the premise of this new game - persuit missions might make it a worthy follow up to MW?

NFS MostWanted Gameplay + Carbon graphics = perfect nfs game, hopes its like that :D

EDIT: also nfs underground had good modding ideas with 'little things' like custom exhaust tips, front/back lights, neons and even... car boot (soundsystem) :)

Even though the newer games have a lot more modifications and newer technology. I thought that games like Underground 2 and Most wanted were the most fun to play. I quite enjoyed carbon, but never got into Pro-street. I tried a 2p drift with a friend, we both just about fell on the floor laughing at it.

I'd like to see them have a mix of Underground 2 and Most Wanted's police chases. I think with Pro Street they were trying to copy Fast and the Furious' "Race Wars" but I think most want the tuner aspect and outrageous car mods.

The titles most guaranteed to sell huge quantities must be either NFS Underground 3, or NFS Most Wanted 2. Don't try and reinvent the wheel; just give us more games with that formula, with a bit of a graphics update.

Probably true, but I'd still love to see a nod in the direction of Porsche 2000, my favourite of the series. If they could get the rights to another franchise (say, Ferrari) and give us another Evolution mode I'd be over the moon.

Sure, it doesn't quite have the same mass-market appeal as tuner street racing but there are still a select band of gamers who revere what EA acheived all those years ago. Not only did it offer something a little different with a touch of class, it also got the most important ingredients of any driving game just right - great cars and great tracks.
