I just cannot stop it crashing.

First off, I have 12 AMD PCs and they play perfectly well on the AMDs, but both the Intels crash.

NFSU2 for example, wont run the EREG.EXE file when you try to install it, and it also wont run if you manually try it either. The game itself is now massively prone to crashes and it has never crashed before on the AMDs

Anyone wish to elaborate?

The Specs are fairly simple enough.
XP Pro
DS3 Mobo
E6300 @ 2.8 - crash at stock too
2x512MB Corsair XMS 6400D5
OnBoard
SATA = 80GB Hitachi + 2x250GB Seagate
IDE = 2 x DVDRW
IDE CARD
Maxtor 80GB
DVDRW

Audigy 2 ZS

Radeon x850GTO2 ( Catalyst 6.9 )

Its currently a very fresh install, having just less than an hour ago finished it, and I have gone through 2K, and Various flavours of XP but they all do *** same thing.
I have tried numerous drivers but again, no difference.

I have googled and found plenty of sites about EREG.EXE but nothing is specifically going to help me out.

Use the brakes more and try to stay clear of other cars? :p

Yes i know, bad joke :/ feel free to slap me

I found a fix to Need For Speed Underground 2, for when it crashes on loading screen, when playing on a dual core machine. Just set the affinity of the speed2.exe in task manager to a single core (Core 0 for example) after it has been run.

Been searching all weekend for a fix to the crashing, and would feel bad if I didn't post a solution somewhere.
