Does anyone know any?
it has to be free or at least the free version can not be restricted to number of objects.

What I have to do is make a map that has marked on it certain establishments which are sorted into groups ( different colour of dots ). Also there has to be option to label them so you can see the name next to the dot/square/whatever mark. It has to let me put the marks on map by using postcode.

Also need to be able to print it later.

iMapBuilder was good but the free version is restricted to only 8 or something objects and I need few hundred.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Phoenix

I don't know of any entirely free software but Microsoft MapPoint should do what you need - you can download a 60 day free trial to see, I don't think has any limitations.

Cool but I don't think they will let me download 3gb at work : (.
Also there is a question if your files get locked after those 60days.

Thanks anyways !

Google Earth. If you have your objects in kml format it's as simple as adding a layer.

I didn't know google earth had that option but then I havnt used it for over 2yrs so it might have evolved bit since then.

Will check it out later on, thanks !

Meanwhile, any other suggestions?
