Need good recommendation GPU for this spec

Hi, any help appreciated.

Mobo: ASUS P5N-E SLI
Graphics (Currently): Dual 9600GS (768MB * 2)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

I need a new card to play some more demanding games this card just can't deal with.

Looking at a GTX but don't want to spend £300, something less than this but must be able to play all current games such as demanding RTS, FPS titles.

Also must be nVidia really.

Resolution?

470 at £180

480 at £206 (if you won't mind the heat and noise)

6950 at £216 (flashable to 6970)


But if you're looking to play RTSs, you should definitely overclock the quad. RTSs are CPU hungry.

For something like Shogun, you should be trying to hit 3.6ghz. Which would run find with graphics cards a tier below the ones I've suggested.
