My budget is around £100 - £120
Currently thinking about sound blaster z in combination with
CAL or Siberia v2 analog.
But which one?
Or is there a even better combination?
Main attraction for me in sound blaster z is the beam forming mic and virtual surround.
Surround sound is a must have for me for games like arma and counter strike.
Thanks in advance.

Siberia's are pathetic for gaming, zero positional audio. CAL would be the best bet of the two you mentioned. Have a look at the plethora of other threads in this forum asking the same question and especially take a look at the head-fi thread linked by myself and others.

Sorry, forgot to address the soundcard. A £20 Xonar DG will perform just as well as the Soundblaster Z in games but does lack this 'beam forming mic' (honestly not sure what you mean by that).

Thanks, I think I'll be getting the CAL, however I am worried about the build quality, it looks quite plasticky and glossy. And leh beam forming mic is he microphone provided with the blast z retail version.

You get what you pay for.

If you want better made headphones then up your budget and look at.

Ad700x

DT770 or DT880 or DT990

HD 598

Fidelio X1

AKG Q701

Apparently the AD700X is the best gaming headphones for your money. They have zero bass though so cannot be used for movies or music which is why they don't usually get recommended.

For purely competitive gaming ad700 or ad700x are the best
