Looking for something that does the job for gaming and music, so nothing fancy and with the price being rather low £50, I gather nothing fancy is what I'll be getting. So many one the web, so needed to ask here.

Find £15 down the back of the sofa and get the HyperX clouds. Nothing sub £100 is supposed to beat it apparently (new of course)

I use the HyperX clouds. Previously I had the version 1 Razer Carcharias (Not quite sure of the spelling) and then I had the Razer blacksharks.

The blacksharks were pretty rubbish, after playing with the sound I did get them to sound good. I did want to use the mic but the mic on those was shocking. My Carcharias was amazing, but I believe the later versions are not as good, just from reviews and my friends experience (In fact all razer products seem to be getting worse lately). The HyperX I've had no problems with, and in fact seem more durable than anything I've had in the past so highly recommend them! As mentioned above, go a little extra out there and buy those as they really are worth it! The only downside which I'm used to now is the material on top of the headset is actually a little thinner than my previous headsets so had to get used to it a little.
