Need Help 1st attempt at System for less than £1,400

Dark Rock Pro 4 exceeds CPU cooler clearance of that case by 2,8mm.
Another problem with glass panels - good spot @EsaT.

Also it's really at unnecessary level.
Presume it's for the aesthetics and silence - although clocking a Zen 2 in the future would have its uses.

Scythe Mugen 5 is already basically overkill.
And RGB version is reasonably priced, if that's goal in case.

You're going soft in your old age @EsaT - a unicorn vomit cooler? :D (that had to hurt to link)

@Socrates470BC - the 2.8mm may not prove to be an issue but i wouldn't risk it with a glass panel - it would be a PITA to find out after order - and a slight rattle against a glass panel would negate any relative silence. The standard Mugen Sythe 5 is a quality cooler, excellent value - the RGB versions has same performance but, RGB twinkles etc...

Another cooler to consider if aesthetics are key is the Noctua coupled with shroud/fan add-ons if - but comes at a premium (would need to specify AM4 bracket)

If not browse the air cooler section - lots to choose from and if keeping CPU at stock plenty of choice.

After having likely had that "circular" trophy called norovirus on Monday it will be some time before some RGB cooler feels much...
And at least it's not usual horribly overpriced bling blinged mediocrity/trash like typical RGB stuff.
Standard Mugen 5 version is also out of stock now, though maybe it will be back in stock by the time Zen2s are available.

Wasn't a large bag of Skittles, the Norovirus and someone accidentally throwing-up on a Christmas tree how RGB was invented?

@Danny75 - was forced to violate a Rock 4 with some prism fans - results were surprisingly good (temps no difference - only the 120mm fan changed), certainly more muted/subtle than dedicated options.

I think there's a direct correlation to how often you and I recommend that particular cooler to its stock levels...

Just for @EsaT to enjoy:
