I'm sure there are a lot more of you guys that are more knowledgeable about routers than me.
So I live with a roommate of mine and while I'm connected via ethernet he's connected via wireless. When I'm gaming I tend to have a steady latency between 30-50msec unless ofcourse I leave utorrent open and downloading stuff which never happens.
Over the last few weeks I've found that whenever my roommate is at home my latency constantly spikes up to anywhere between 300-700msec and yeah I lag like crazy.
Long story short I'm currently using a Thomson TG585 v7 (0808TF333) which BE gave me but is there a router out there which can to some extent limit/cap the bandwidth my roommate uses?
