I have started to build my pc with the few components I have (which is not much ) I have already run Ito my first hurdle :(

My build log is here

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18451456

The problem I'm facing is fitting the corsair h60 in a zalman hd 503 , the screws the provide you with are not long enough to mount the radiator to the case then the fan to the radiator in the correct way . If I use the screws and mount it the way it is supposed to it is to big and overhangs the motherboard area and the io shield . Photos are in my build log

Suggestions welcome :)

Thanks for the instructions :) , I can't mount the fan externally as the side panel is in the way . There is a roof vent in the zalman case but no way to mount the rad and fan on unless I used cable ties . Only other option is to sell the h60 and buy another cooler ?

I would head into the customer support section and see if you can't send it back and get a suitable replacement. The support staff are very helpful, especially if 5UB finds you.

Maybe something like this would be more suitable? Max height is 130mm I believe for that case. Noctua fans are dead quiet too, might be worth replacing the stock fans at some point.

If you are desperate to test the kit you can always use the stock cooler that came with the CPU.

The normal fan is just to thick :( is there any half thickness fans if u know what I mean ? Also cooler was only thing not purchased from ocuk :( so going to be hard to rma .

Just spent the last hour reading through forums, reviews and watching videos. Not one mention of any CLC`s being used. Most have stock or low profile coolers installed.
I would recommend RMAing the case, but looking at the pic showing the cooler, it looks like the mesh is damaged. 2nd post, 2nd to last pic, top left hand corner.

The mesh is supposed to be bent like that so the fans can get more air into the case . I'm not sending the case back as it took me months to find a case that would like nice and work in the space I have available. I also read these forums for months and others looking for CFCs in this case but couldn't find any so I took a gamble. I just now have to make it work lol
