Need help and advice please ;)

Hi Guys,

I have an Asus P8Z77 LX motherboard and I have my 3570K overclocked to 4.4ghz (Although I was thinking of pushing it a little harder).
I currently have some bog standard 1600 Ram dimms in DC (2 x 4gb). I was thinking it might be a good idea to get 2 x 8gb modules, I believe my MB supports 2400?

Can anyone advise me what ram to buy? and how to overclock them or set them at the right settings in the bios?

Any help greatly appreciated, I used to be clued up on all this but as I get older I find I have less time to keep up!

Going past 4.5 ghz overclcok has little performance gain personally i wouldnt bother, as for ram geting any memory from the memory support list should work by seting intel extreme memory profile XMP in the bios.

Thanks Micky, Do you think I would see a decent boost going from 1600 8 gigs to 2400 16 gigs ram? Would it even be worth it?

I took a look at the list of memory on asus's link you gave, having trouble reading it though, it's confusing the hell outta me. It says my MB could take 3200 ram, is that right?

Could anyone spec me some ram from overclockers?

There wont but much of an advantge going for higher mhz ram maybe a 2-3 fps in gamesand nothing faster than 2400 but i would defintally add another 8 gb
