OK...so I got a E5300 for my old MSI P6N SLI V2 board which I was using my Q6600 on before. After installing the CPU, and boot up the the PC, it just doesn't show anything. I went on the MSI site to search for more info, and it turns out that I need BIOS version 1.4 to have support for the E5300, and my MSI P6N SLI V2 is only on BIOS version 1.3.
So I would like to know if it would be possible to flash/update BIOS of the MSI P6N SLI V2 without having to stick my Q6600 back onto the MSI P6N SLI V2? Cause doing so would mean I have to take the Thermalright Silver Arrow off from my P5Q Deluxe in order to take the Q6600 out, and I would like to avoid needing to do that if possible.
