I dont really have a lot to say on the matter, apart from wow this threads gone on for a long time!!

I remember when i was younger, my sister dobbed me in about net porn, this is goin back a few years now so malware wasnt such a big issue. Still very embarrasing to be confronted by ones mother about such a topic.

Just set up address logging in your router, then coppy all the suspect addresses to your HOSTS file, redirecting them to your PC (127.0.0.1).

Set up a small web server prog on your computer and create your own web site which will contain whatever you like, be it a loud siren or an access denied page or whatever.
