I am looking to buy 2 new monitors next month and could do with some opinions.

I have currently got a Samsung SM2333sw which is a 23" with 1920 x 1080 resolution, however, I want dual displays so going to give this one to my girlfriend (as I can't find another one the same) and buy 2 24" screens.

I was originally going to get a 24" Apple Cinema Display (then wait til next year to buy a 2nd one) but after reading some bad things about backlight bleeding, I've lost my confidence in them.

So....after really thinking about it, I am mega pleased with the Samsung I already have, so why pay £600+ for something I don't need? So I've decided to look at the cheaper end of the market.

Can anyone recommend a good 24" monitor for around £250? I'm not really fussed about panel type. I know for this kind of money in a 24" I am only going to get a TN panel, but as that's what's in my current monitor, it won't make much difference.

I have looked at the Samsung 2494HM (and HS version) and they look nice but would I be better going for the 1920 x 1200 or 1920 x 1080?

Thanks

Instead of premium Apple should give discount for it being beard shaving mirror screen. Just watch and you see shadows of people and background reflecting from it:

Mirror screens are bad for anything else than darkroom use. When image is dark and room has lightning reflection of your face drowns image like this:

£250 is way too much for TN, this is where price meets the features:
