Afternoon all,
I need some help please. I'm starting a band in which I may need to play some small keys parts live for intros and things.
I know I can just hook up a midi keyboard to a laptop and DAW, but I'd really rather not take my laptop to gigs.
What I'm looking for is a small keyboard with probably 1–2 octaves that I can pre-program certain tones into, that I can switch on stage depending on the song. I think this may just be a synthesiser, but the ones I've seen online seem to want you to have a laptop with you all the time. Essentially, I don't want midi - I want sound out.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
We could also play to backing tracks, but I think we'd all prefer to skip that, or perhaps have them activated as a sample.
Thanks
