well January sells are on and i was thinking about buying a new laptop for a while
I dont play a lot of movies but i do play games. Though not interested in first person shooters so my new machine doesn't need to be top notchl. currently running wow which is low spec , but want to handle something like upcoming dragon age without a prob. also dont wanna hit myself on the head in 2 years cus i wont be able to play new games at all.
I was looking at Ultima with P8400, 4GB memory, 160 ram and vista which would come up to just below £1200 a bit over my budget of £1000
looking around dell wasnt too impressed with selection and i heard M1530 should be going down in price but the one i was looking for had what i think is better processor T9300 ? , worse graphic geforce8600, same memory but at 7200rpm which came just over £800
now i know Ultima is better but i would be saving £400 and not sure if i really need that much better laptop.
And browsing around this site HP HDX16-1010EA seems pretty decent spec as well but i want 15" so i had the snoop around on their page. They mostly have 3BM memory so not sure if that's enough, im not sure if i trust radeon so was looking at Sony VGN-CS11S/W with P8400, 3GB memory, geforce 9300M gs for £880. i don't know rpm of memory and im not sure about gs/gt at the end of geforce cards anymore but iirc gs is inferior card right?
what would you recommend or should i look around some more?
