right basically what happened i was just on fb on windows 7 and ran disk defragmenter, then for some reason web pages wouldnt load so i looked at task manager network tab and it said no network deviced installed :S

so i tried re-booting now it gets half way through windows loading screen then restarts, tryed safe mode same thing happens, tryed every option like windows repair thing etc, can't get it to work

what should i do? only just installed it a week ago and got every damn thing i had on my windows xp installed onto the damn thing :(

So you have tried a startup repair? What about a system restore or running check disk from a command prompt (both can be done from within the system recovery options). To run check disk open a command prompt and type CHKDSK x: /F (x is your drive letter) which will perform a full scan.

yup no disk errors, tryed system restore, and the startup repair, all havent worked even tried last known good configuration etc.

but iv just deleted partition now and formatting it, going to do fresh install can't be bothered farting about will just have to sit here rest of the evening putting everything back how i had it :( lol

Nightmare :( When you get everything back up and running again with all your drivers installed and Windows updates etc etc take a disk image using the built in image creation feature on Windows 7. Then in future you can just restore the disk image should things go belly up again.

Have a read here. When it's finished you will be prompted to create a system repair disk which you should do. Should your machine ever go belly up again you can boot from the repair disk and browse to the disk image you had taken previously (you can save the image to an external HDD or blank DVD's).
