Hi,
does anyone know how to remove the faceplate from an Advent CBE1401 Centurion case?
I don't want to go pulling on panels when its not my case. I just need access to the front so I can alter the position of the card reader for my sis.

Cheers!

The trick is to strip the case back enough for you to have a fairly good visual inspection of the inside face of the fascia; usual mounting methods are push-pins, clips and screws.

Should be fairly straight forward to see how it was constructed. I'm not sure many people would have first hand experience of that particular case.

I managed to find a spare bit of time to slowly do as suggested.
stripped back and found out how to access each part of the case & thought that maybe someone else may ask same question again in the future so for googles sake, heres the "how to".

to remove foot plate:-
remove side panel, lay case down, slide foot plate towards the back of the case about one inch. this unlocks all 4 tabs and foot plate will simply come away.

to remove face plate:-
pull at the bottom left of the faceplate, then continue up both sides pulling slowly and steadily. the front is held on with 6 pins. these just pop out as you exert pressure.

to remove top:-
feel inside case near PSU, there is a black clip. push that outwards and the back will come loose. repeat for middle. for the front clips, you may have to slide hand inside case into dvd bays to unclip. 6 clips holding it in place.

Thanks again JCBeastie
