Hey,

I've been searching all over these forums and the internet, looking for any information on how to unlock the clock speed on my 3870. I have a sapphire version.

If anyone can help point me in the right direction and give me some advice on which bios I would need for my card, if there are any even out there.

It's been alluded to in many forums, but I've not found any solid evidence of it!

I found a BIOS for my card which gives stock clocks of 830/1200Mhz. However, don't ask me to find it again, as I can't remember where I found it!

I used Winflash to save the original BIOS in case of problems, and then used it to flash the new BIOS to the card. It was quick and worked perfectly.

Ok, I've flashed my graphics card bios, but I don't have any way of overclocking it. riva tuner doesn't work, nor does ATI Tool. In fact ATI tool locks up my PC, so it doesn't even load.
